Hi, Following will be the causes for water not draining properly 1.There is a motor/Pump which operates to to drain the water check whether that motor is working. 2.Check filter and clean it 3.Check the drain pipeline whether it clear 4.Check the inlet valve of the machine Sometimes the drain works properly but the inlet solenoid valve will not hold and the water keeps coming in and fills the drum
Have you checked the pump filter, and or that the pump is actually working. if it spins o/k with no water in, then I would suspect a draining problem.
If filter clean and pump o/k, then it could be a control module fault. if this were the case, then it would probably be wiser to purchase a new washer.

The filter is to be found at the bottom front left of washer behind a removeable plastic trim, if you can see a screw in the filter cover, undo this, and turn filter anticlockwise to remove.
If no filter at front, then remove rear panel of washer, and remove large black hose fastened to drum, check for blockage here, and check the pump at the same time.

I had the same problem. My husband checked the carbon brushes attached to the motor and ran the machine on spin. The brushes were sparking so he assumed they were worn and replaced them and hey presto machine works fine now. The brushes cost 23.99 and were just bought from a local shop but can be bought online cheaper. Hope this helps solve your problem. Essex
Had the same problem. The water pump is not working and since it cant drain water it wont spin. A easy fix. There's a magnet located on the water pump thats comes lose. Simply tie it back into place.
Have the same problem, different model and it looks like I am outside 5 years spare parts. Probably just a belt or something from overloading. Also looks like it would nearly be cheaper to buy a new machine.You must have checked your pump???? What a rip off
