I traced the freezer engineer who had been servicing the unit for the previous owner. He is sending me the peramiters for the unit to pass on to my freezer technician.
Sounds really strange to me. Not sure what kind of patch he could have used. I've never heard of "freon noise". Clicking and popping could be the thermal overload tripping and resetting. The unit should still be under warranty. I would contact them to get another tech and another opinion. It would be best to get this resolved before the warranty wears out.
