Windows Vista is still behind providing drivers for tv tunners....unless you buy new ones designed for vista. If you had your tv tuner for xp and it worked fine on that operating system than I am afraid that you are going to have to buy a new one for vista.
How ever you may find that microsoft or the third part supplier may be on the process of supplying software for your tv tunner.
Please let me know what happens woth you... I would be grateful to if you could let me have the serial number and the model number so that I can do research for you and try and help you out.
A TV card probably wont be able to tune it in...or decode(decrypt) it for that matter. Is a CableTv set top box plugged in? (the box your cable company supplies you with) -damian
First things First:
1) what is the real problemyou have?
2) if is a TV tunner, verify the brand, and look for software or generic software for TV TUNNERS. then install and run again. it is suppose to have a support page for any problem.
