Picture color is pinkish and out of focus

The problem you might be having is that the view finder is out of focus.
If this is the problem it is an easy fix.
You will see a small wheel next to the view finder (it has a + and a - next to it), look through the view finder and let the camera focus on an object. Now turn the wheel and you will see the image either get worse or start to come in focus. Adjust the wheel until you are satisfied with the clarity.

Adjust view finder focus as you will see setting there, to view correct focus in view finder itself.
Camera is just fine because it is taking good focus pictures.

Is there fuzzy color? pink and green? if yes, then it's 99 percent for CCD fault.

We took it to a camera shop,and found the sensor was blown.

Ok. On your viewfinder, there might be a round dial. Turn it to adjust focus. Otherwise, sometimes viewfinders are like that... blurry, especially electronic.

I would check IS(image stablization) setting and continous shooting setting to make sure these features are turned off. You want to experiment with different IS settings and definitely turn the continous shooting mode because the continouse mode may not focus 100% in order to shoot multiple shots. Hope this helps. -James. P.S. In my case it was too difficult to distinguish the quality of focus in the VF or LCD so you may not see the focus issue on them.

i had the same problem a year ago / this is not somethin you can fix by yourself
you shood get your camera to a laboratory that repares sony's camera because there is some chip they need to replace - if i recall somethin likr color mannager\spliter i don't have the wright words in english for this

The blue filter is burnt out. A very common problem in Zenith DLPs. There are 3 color filters, 1 blue (a pinkish color), 1 green (a grayish brown) and 1 red (it is red) they give you your colors for you picture. This is a simple fix.

Turn the small dial to the right of your view finder either "+" or "-" until picture is clear inth eview finder

Good Day, is the blurry picture pinkish in color? It might be an imager(CCD) problem, you can check it at sony support website, if it qualifies, just read the provisions, I will not comment on the policy, maybe it differ from country to country, i'm here in the philippines. thanks
