Can't charge the ipad from the USB charger

Can't charge the ipad from the USB, anyone else got this problem?
the ipad seems like it's not charging, i'm using my iphone usb charger and it works just fine

To get Ipad to show as charging download Asus AiCharger from web and restart computer after install.Plug in usb from Ipad and should now show charging http://event.asus.com/mb/2010/ai_charger/

The USB port of a Computer may not provided the same amount of charging current as your wall charger. Do you have other power hungry devices connected to the computer? It may help to get a USB hub with external powersupply. If all else fails the iPad doesn't charge on any USB port, you may actually have a hardware issue. You can always take it to the apple store and demonstrate the problem there, you'll probably receive a replacement. If you have issues with the warranty, there are third party places that will find our what's wrong. If you want to do it yourself, the good news is, it's not too hard to open it. Hello,

If you charge your iPad on a power adapter, the iPad should respond while charging, except if your iPad battery is so low the apps need more power to run.

If you charge your iPad on the USB port of your computer, it is normal you cannot use your apps as the iPad is not only in battery charging mode but also in synchronizing mode with iTunes in the computer. You should lose the habit to charge the iPad on the PC and use a dedicated power adapter instead, as dedicated power adapters charge the iPad battery 2 to 4 times faster than the USB port of most computers.
USB port power: 2.5 Watts in general (5 volt x 0.5 A = 2.5 Watts)
iPhone charger: 5 watts
iPad charger: 10 or 12 watts

MY i pad will not charge
As soon as you connect your iPad to a working charger, it will beep. If you plug in the cable and you don't hear the beep, assume something is wrong. Just find out what, the cable or the charger.
Don't try to charge the iPad with a computer, because the 500 mA a USB connector from a computer can give, is not enough even to start.
But you can use a computer to test the cable, because the iPad should beep and say on the screen not charging.
If there is no beep when connecting to a computer, you have to use another cable. If it beeps, buy a new charger. 5 Volt 2 A. The best an Apple charger.

what model of ipad is it if its the third then its probably dead you need a different charger than the one apple supplied if you have or know anyone with maybe a Samsung charger for an s3 or s4 use your cable but use there Samsung plug it has a usb slot on it and would provide more power to charge it as the third gen drains very quickly and the charger they supplied isn,t enough to keep it going

How do I make the new iPad's battery recharge faster?
There are many things you might be doing wrong but slow battery charge is a problem with the new iPad. The battery is actually a lot bigger than the iPad 2 which means it is going to take you much longer to charge.
Use the provided charger and don't charge from your computer. It is almost twice as slow to do it plugged into a computer. Charge it at night to give it the most time to charge as possible. I usually turn it off so programs don't run and slow down the charging speed. Every little bit helps.

if you want to charge it with the cpu you have to turn off the ipod before it will charge
