My LG Chocolate touch vx8575 phone suddenly stopped playing sounds for the buttons on the touchscreen. The phone will ring, and I can listen to music with earbuds, but the buttons make no sound when pressed (yes, I already went to settings to make sure the sound was activiated for the buttons). You can't hear the music on the phone without the earbuds. Anyone have this problem? Did I hit some secret ''mute'' button?
It sounds like a failure in the earbud jack. Try plugging and unplugging a few times. If something got inside the jack, that could cause this issue. Shake the phone while you plug and unplug...
