It depends on the set on which is is used and if all the functions match on the remote for the model of the TV chosen.
You have not specified the make/model of the universal remote as a referance to the make will confirm the case.

Tries use the front or right side panel manual controls panel.Use the Channels buttons UP/DOWN push the channels UP button couple time.U should get in Video 1 or 2 which ever ur video game console hook in.Or your tv might just have a manual video button,put that u in video 1 or 2.Try website 1-800-remotes Factory original to buy an exact remote ur problem solved.None the solutions,help.

Unfortunately Orion has no other way to switch the inputs but with the remote. www.remotes.com has an original remote. Thanks

I hooked up my DVD player to the Yellow/Red/White inputs on the back of the set. I think you can buy a manual for $2.60 from the Orion website. Good luck.

According to the specs on that model, it does not have a digital tuner capable of receiving ATSC signals. You need a converter to receive the digital signal and convert it to analog so that set can process it. Unless you already have a 'black box' between your signal source and the Orion, you have never received 'digital' signals.

If your tv has S-video on the unit then yes you can plug it in from your S-Video out on your laptop. You will have to change the input on the tv. This will be done by hitting the TV/AV button on the remote, that is assuming this is an ORION stv2762. Otherwise it will be an Input, TV/Video, or AV button, or source . IF you have none of these then it could be as simple as pressing the Channel button down until you reach the AV channel. Make sure the laptop is on and then try changing through input's until you see the screen change to what the laptop shows. If you have more questions about this let me know.

You need to purchase either a replacement remote from ORION or Ebay, OR you can purchase a replacement universal remote and program it for your TV. Make sure the Universal remote you buy has an input or source button. Radioshack carries several for 8-15 bucks.

if you dont already have the remote set up then find the codes and t it up. the remote should have a button that says either tv/video or input. depending on the tv it should take you to a few channels through this button. look for either input 1 or 2, or even GAME. these should be the channels it will play on.
