Access the router's built-in web-interface, and access the router's web-page where you "enabled" the port-forwarding. Then, "remove" or "delete" the settings.
Then, access the router's web-page that defines which of your computers/XBOX is to be placed into the 'DMZ' ("De-Militarized-Zone"). Put your XBOX, not your desktop, into the 'DMZ', to allow it "full" access to the Internet, i.e., bypassing the protection of the "firewall" that is inside your router.

My network configuration has a strict NAT setting this is likely to cause connectivity problems with other payers how do i address this issue

You need to look into port forwarding. You will need to go into your router/modem's configuration and open a port for the xbox. Do some research into port forwarding.

Netgear DG834G with xbox360

Connect to the Router,
Under the Security tab, select Services, then add, give it the name XBOX TCP/UDP, set start port as 3074 and end port as 3074, set type as TCP/UDP, click apply/ok. Do this again, giving it the name XBOX UDP, start port 88, end port 88, type UDP, then apply settings.

Now go to Firewall under the Configuration tab, under incoming click add, now select the service XBOX UDP/TCP from the drop down menu. select forward to specific IP address or similar and type in your Xbox's IP address e.g. 192.168.1.5, click log never, then apply ok. Do the same for XBOX UDP and your again click apply. That's it! you've successfully opened the necessary ports on your Router and told your Router that any incoming info on those ports should be sent to your Xbox.

Connecting a dvmre to a wireless router

Everything sounds ok. Try to add more port in your port forwarding. Actually, even if you don't forward port 80, by default its already open because that is for internet access. Research more port that your dvmre is using. You may want to isolate the problem by connecting your dvmre directly to the modem and check if it works there. If not, maybe your ISP is blocking some port the your dvmre is using.

Port Fowarding for my Logitech Webcam

Do you know how to do portforwarding in general?
Have a look at the manual - page 21. You can also find it here: ftp://ftp.linksys.com/downloads/NA/userguide/WRT310N_V10_UG_B-WEB.pdf

You should give your computer a static IP address (or enable static DHCP), otherwise the forwarding will fail if DHCP assings a different address to your computer.

Important is that you have two entries, one for port 8888 /TCP and a second one for port 8081 /Both.

If this helped, please come back and leave a comment, to help others with the same problem.

Opening ports strict nat

The ports will need to be opened in your router, you can also try enabling DMZ

Read this microsoft page, it tells you the ports that need to be forwarded on the router
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/908874

Please read the documentation that came with your router to figure out how to enable port forwarding, if you don't have a hard copy of a user manual, it should be included on a CD and its also available online.

Thank you,
I will fix it!!

Changing nat on xbox live

I had this issue, and solved it recently. Everyone on the internet will tell you to forward ports, or disable the NAT setting, but these never worked for me. As I was about to give up and buy a new router, as a last resort I decided to call tech support. In about 3 minutes they fixed my problem, and it is much easier then port forwarding.

-First go into your 360 network settings and find its mac address.
-In the router settings move to the LAN tab.
-Then go to "dhcp leases".
-Under "current dhcp leases" your 360 should be listed (match the mac address)
-Make a note of the IP address listed for the 360, then delete that lease.
-Now Reserve a new IP address, enter in the MAC address and IP address you wrote down for the 360.
-Check the bypass firewall option (and give it a name if you want) and then add the new entry.
-On the same page, move up to "DMZ Host" find your new entry and click "apply"
-Click the option to reboot your SBG900, then restart your 360, and the NAT should be open.

I hope this helps, if I described it correctly it should be much easier then port forwarding, and more importantly, it should work.

I need get my static ip working?

For gaming all you need to do is go to http://whatismyip.com your ip# will come up. Give it to your fellow gamers and they can join your game. As far as ports go, you need to find out what ports are used for your specific game. These can be found easily with a search, theres bound to be a forum or two that have this information available. Once you find out what they are, enter them into your port forwarding page. Making sure you apply your settings to 10.0.0.1.
