Asko Frontload wont stop running water

This past friday there was a neighborhood water emergency and the water was shut down for several hours. When I started the washing maching i heard pressure release sound comming from the water source and since then I've had the following problem

Here is the problem : Water won't stop filling the machine and spin cycle does not automatically start.

1. I start the washer
2. It fills normally
3. The spin cycle will not automatically start.
4. The Machine will continue to pour in water and drain continuously -- it did this all night long on Friday.
3. Even when the door is open, water starts pouring into the machine.

Is there something I can do , without calling a repair person.

Thank you very much for your help.

machine starts , goes through wash cycle will not empty or go to spin, therefore will not turn off then door will not open unless released by using manual pull at the pump/ needle catchment door

It sounds like the water inlet solenoid valve at the rear of the washer where the hose hooks up is leaking, more than likely the cold water valve.

Can't open door of ASKO W6883

If nothing else works, the washer door can be opened as follows:

This must only be done in an emergency

if the machine's glass door does not open automatically when the program has finished.

First check that there is no water left in the machine. If there is water left in the machine and it is not possible to run the Drain program, empty the machine by using the drain hose.

Make sure that the main power switch is off and that the plug has been re- moved from the wall socket.

You will find the emergency opener for the glass door in the double sealed bag.

Open the glass door by putting the opener in the slot to the right of the lock on the door. Push the opener up or down and the door will open.

I have an asko 11505 clothes washer. For some reason, it is not going through all of the spinning cycle, it spins for a short time, then stops abrutely. I cleaned the coin stop, cleaned out all water...

My Asko 11505 washer fills only a little water then shuts off. If I drain the washer with the drain hose from under the machine, then the machine will start up and fill enough water to fill the hose again, then shut off.

Asko t702c stops working after about 5 minutes

If you continue to try to run the dryer after the automatic shut off kicks-in it will shut the cycle down with no flashing lights after the dryer reaches a critical and dangerous temperature. If the dryer is skipping immediately to this step without any flashing lights then call an Asko certified repairman as something may be wrong with the machine. If you have not tried cleaning the condensor, please do this as well. Remove the bottom housing of the dyer, move the two red handle to the right, and pull out the condensor unit. Wash it under warm/hot water using a bathtub or shower and you will see lint and dust come out by the heapful. Replace the condensor unit, wait about 30-45 minutes, and then try restarting your dry cycle.

ASKO dishwasher won't drain and makes rattling sound.

I had tried several failed attempts to fix this problem. Finally I got on my knees and asked God to make the dishwasher run in Christ's name. The dishwasher just completed it's first cycle without any problems.

Machine wont stop filling with water, it just overflows. Machine is an Asko w6551 front loader

Same thing happened to my ASKO W600.  Sounds like the water inlet valve is blocked or broken so therefore can't stop the flow of water coming into machine.  Check it out and replace if necessary.

You may have a low pressure or high pressure switch tripping out the board as well. You might try cleaning both the indoor (evaporator) coil and the outdoor (condensing) coil. Be sure to turn off the power source before servicing this.
