I have replaced the color wheel on my samsung dlp and now colors are switched. Green is purple and red is blue, just some examples. I have adjusted the index delay put green and purple are still switched and other colors are still not clear. Please help.

no you need to adjust the color wheel to factory specs by getting into the service software. The color wheel has to be timed to the engine.

Have you examined the color wheel this set should have?

look for (remove lamp as it faces that) any segments broken or missing.

A color wheel also can have a high pitched or fan like sound but not always.

check the wheel first.

The Lv values are for Red-Y, Green-Y, Blue-Y, White-Y

Replacing the color wheel can sometimes switch Red With Blue. If you remove the jumper it could fix the problem.

Most times color does not to be reset. If you have a very ugly green or blue picture, then you did not pull the jumper on the dm board. This jumper must be removed when a bering type color wheel has be replaced with a new airless bering color wheel.

I just had a service tech out and replaced the color wheel. now i have the same issue with the color...the people all look blue. He told me that now the the digital board is bad. It's the board were all of the connections go. I'm not convinced, as I remember reading something about color settings needing to be adjusted after color wheel replacement.

Sounds like one of your colors are missing. make sure all colors are lit, Blue, Red, Green
