Lightning struck now my tv won't work.

Okay me and my family was watching a movie during a storm and all of a sudden we hear a BOOM! And huge flash the power went out at our house aparently lightning struck the main power thing on the pole outside so 15 minutes later the electric guy comes and fixes the problem all the lights kick on but when I try to turn the flat screen tv on alls it does is flash a blue and red light on the little light part at the bottom of the tv. I don't know what to do is there anyway to fix this problm or is my tv prmanantly fried? Please help thank you.

Ur Main Fuses in the circuits breaker box must be to be restart it back.Turn off/on all the fuses on the main circuits breaker box to all the fuses in the box of the box to restart.All ur electical power outlets should work again.If not those power plug in outlets are shorted and dead must have to be replaced.

Was the PC running when the storm struck? In that case changing the power supply knows as SMPS which is inside the cabinet needs to be replaced provided your monitor when independently connected to a power outlet, gives a display or says 'no video signal'...................sodeep
