I charged the battery and there's gas in my lawn

Batteries can be new and not be fully charged. Lots of ideas in the link, but test the starter solenoid first.

Check power at solnoid on cable coming from battery. 12-13V. With key turn to start should have 12-13v

float or float valve sticking in seat.

Stall or quits? Will it run 15 minutes again after it cools down. Check
carb bowl for water. Loosen the bottom screw a little until gas come out and water will "roll" off the gas that drops out on the deck.

Check you safety switches, brake, neutral, seat, blades, and reverse (if equiped). Then if that does not work I check the starting solinoid and the ignition switch.

battery does not have enough charge to spin the starter, you might be able to charge it up. try jump starting from a car battery then mow your whole lawn without stopping. if it restarts after that you are good to go, if not go to walmart and spend 25 bucks on a new battery. replace the gas first.

I have a duetz-allis mower with 18hp. kohler eng. won't start, have new seloniod, new circuit breaker, getting fire to switch & out. Still won'tstart

battery has a low charge or the starting gear on the starter is bad. just remove cover and see if the starter ingages and cranks the fly wheel. look at the gear itself to make sure the teeth are good ,if not replace the plastic gear. takes 5 min.

the battery probably got over charge & shorted the cells the tractor should charge the battery as it runs if it was equiped with electric start the battery charger more than likely over charged it killing the battery
