Try www.BogenTripodParts.com for that part. There is listed the widest selection of Bogen parts and support more models than any other web site I’ve seen. There are losts of pictures to help find just the right part

Manfrotto #190 tripod leg swings open and closed on its own versus having to pull with some muscle. How do I correct this? Thanks

Just strip down each leg individually, remove, clean and lubricate sparingly the leg clamps (I use silicone bicycle chain lubricant), wipe the leg sections to remove any accumulated detritus, then re-assemble. Do NOT over tighten the leg clamps - even the aluminium ones can be brittle and snap if over tightened.

I can't get the ball head off my tripod. I've loosened the set screws at the base, but the head won't budge.

You can try this:
spray lubricant between ball head and base, wrap the ball head with a heavy rag( to help prevent scratches, use a pip wrench on ball head while someone else holds legs ( or also wrap legs in cloth and hold in vise). DO THIS AT OWN RISK

A couple of the lever locks on my Manfrotto 055XB tripod are no longer sufficiently locking the legs so they slip. How do I tighten them?

Use an 8mm, I believe, socket and tighten 1/4 turn the nuts on the lower half of the leg lock. For instance, the top leg lock is connected to the top and middle leg. Tighten the lower 2 nuts (located on the middle leg half of the lock) 1/5 turn. If that does not do it, tighten 1/4 turn again. Be sure not to over-tighten.

Broken leg clip on Manfrotto Modo 785B tripod the head is non-removable on this model and I don't want to have to replace whole tripod so is there somewhere I can buy a new leg clip or get it...

Yes you can. But I saw that your Manfrotto is possible to buy for 50 Euro.
Anyway the part you need is the full leg called CODE:
R785,203B
you can see the datasheet on the spare part site of Manfrotto:

Reassembling telescopic sections for a 676B monopod

Each leg lock has a leg locking lever and a screw that hold the clamp assembly tight to the leg. Unlock the leg lock lever, loosen the screw above it that holds the clamp tight to the leg. The legs should fit into each other sice each leg is slightly larger or smaller then then next one. Slide the clamps in the approprite places and tighten the screw enough to hold the clamp assembly tight, but do not over tighten it. Over tightening will damage the 679 tubes.

ART055 manfrotto pro tripod

Hey there fotoflika, I have had a similiar problem in the past and found replacement parts unavailable. My solution was to drill a small hole through the leg section, and I used a similiar size allen key to stick in the hole, effectively locking the leg in place. You could drill several holes for different extension lengths. Crude I admit, but cheaper than buying a new tripod.
