After tv is on for approx 20-30 mins it starts to make a loud high pitched squeal or whine. once turned off for approx 10-15 mins can turn it back on for another 20-30 mins before squeal will return. basically once warmed up tv squeals, then turn it off let set and turn it on again no squeal. turn it on too soon and squeal is still there. the picture however is fine before and even while tv squeals.

Symptoms of a Defective or dying Power supplies on LCD TVs.
1. Light(s) on the front panel are behaving not normal example, blinking, amber color or not steady, fainting, etc.
2. TV not turning ON properly.
3. TV turns OFF by itself.

Ok maybe this may help .... there is a coil LL08 I believe... somtimes it creates a high pitch whine like you describe.. its stands up on the deflection board..it basicaly a large coil of copper wire....you can take silcon and put on the coil...in effect damping the ocillations...hope that might help

Get a small wood/plastic stick and touch the different coils/transformers to see which one is the cause. Replace part or if the part doesn't run hot, use a small amount of hot melt to quiet. Don't completely encapsulate in glue, don't want to create any hazards.
