Should be on the front side of the transmission, where the trans and engine connect. Follow the line from the master cylinder (should be next to the brake Master) down to the transmisson, it will lead you to the slave. It should look like a roll fo quarters with a plunger sticking out that attatches to a lever that goes inside the bell housing.

youre going to torque it to 65 ft lbs.. start from the centre out and go diagonally. be sure to replace the head bolts and very lightly oil them before installation.

you have to take off the speedometer cable/wiring harness from the top of the trans and fill it from there....one 10mm bolt...very awkward spot...it might be snug, so just take a flat head screwdriver from underneath to tap it loose...

Rebleed slave cylinder if you had third and fourth strong before. Do they catch when you're sitting with the car off and moving gears into position?

check the fluid in the reservoir for the clutches slave cylinder
If low add fluid and pump the clutch 25 times before starting up the engine. It should shift great after the pumping proceedure. If not the slave cylinder is at fault

22 - 24 ft. lbs. for the rod caps and....
110795143Cylinder Head Tightening Torque and Sequence.

Tighten cylinder head bolts in order shown.
Tightening torque: 36.1 ft. lbs. (49 Nm, 5 kg-m)

Loosen bolts in reverse of order shown.

Retighten cylinder head bolts in order shown.
Tightening torque: 18 ft. lbs. (25 Nm, 2.5 kg-m)

Mark cylinder head bolts for rotational reference.
Rotate cylinder head bolts 90°(1/4 Turn) in order shown.

CAUTION:
  • Do not reuse the old cylinder head bolts.
