Hiya bcd1...what model number? see below info.. is yours one of these?

The front loading washing machines have been known to leak water onto the electrical connections to the machine's thermal sensor, which could cause an electrical short and ignite a circuit board, causing a fire.
The recall covers 250,000 Maytag washers and 20,000 Samsung front loaders.
Maytag machines affected have model numbers beginning with MAH9700 or MAH8700. The Samsung washers have model numbers beginning WF306BHW and WF316, although not all serial numbers are subject to the recall.

learn more detailed information about the recall by visiting Whirlpool...or Samsung's at www.samsung.com/washerrecall.

Hope you find useful!

Regards Faggly

SOURCE: front load washer leaks from the detergent drawer in the front

try taking the drawer out and clean it thoroughly, including the underside of the drawer, then clean the inside of the machine where the drawer fits into. Sometimes a build up of dertergent can casue this problem

SOURCE: Samsung Front load washer has small leak coming

First check not a likely cause: Does your door stay centrally aligned when closed? If it doesn't center it could cause a leak. The glass bowl on the inside must be centered in the gasket. It will have to be adjusted or bent to center.
Second check: If it is a leak that happens when it is running then you will need to reset your gasket if there is a wrinkle in it or a new gasket. To check for a wrinkle put 1 layer of paper towels around the glass bowl insert, close the door and turn it on. Let it run for a bit then check the paper towel. You should be able to find the place leaking by the wet spot on the towel. If it only leaks a little when you open the door then you have a choice, keep a rag handy and mop it up (I'm talking about a couple of tablespoons at the most) or follow the instructions above. Even with a new gasket front loaders often leak a few drops that mop up nicely with the next load of clothes.
Warning: the gaskets don't just pop in they take some work. One side is attached to stationary cabinet and the other to the drum which moves a bunch. This will take a parts breakdown at a minimum. If you see any gasket sealant listed make sure and get some.

SOURCE: lg front load washer leaking from bottom of machine

I just fixed this problem - there is a rubber hose that hooks the bottom of the drum to the drain and recycle pumps - it is ribbed and it developed a hole. To confirm and repair (repair can be done from the front of the machine)

  1. Unplug the machine.
  2. Drain whatever water you can from the machine using the stoppered hose behind the bottom left panel
  3. Unscrew the visible screw holding the plastic in place near the drain hose and filter
  4. If you can pull the plastic recessed piece out, there is one screw visible behind it - unswcrew this. If you cannot pull it out now, you should be able to get it after you remove the screws in step 10
  5. Pull out the detergent drawer (push in the middle back "botton" to release the drawer to pull out fully)
  6. Unscrew two screws in the drawer area.
  7. Pull the top of the electronics assembly away from the machine and lift the assembly out (place on top of the machine or hook it out of the way)
  8. Open the door and remove the spring loaded wire around the door seal (be careful as the seal can be torn)
  9. Pull the seal away from the metal front panel, then close the door
  10. Remove four screws at the top of the front panel (that were behind the eletronics assembly) - If you already have removed the screw from step 4, proceed, otherwise lean the top of front panel out and pop the plastic out, hold panel in place and remove that bottom screw from step 4.
  11. Lift front panel about two inches, swing the entire front panel to the right and set against something - You should now be able to see inside the machine.
  12. There is a black hose right in the middle - when I squeezed mine a little, I could see where the water was dripping out from the bottom.
  13. There are three clamps - two that can be squeezed with pliers and removed, one that has to be unscrewed (phillips head screw - it is a bit blind as the screw faces the back of the machine) - Once I got mine off - I could see the hole.
  14. Order replacement and reassmble in the opposite order

SOURCE: after my washer spends the rubber comes

Do you mean the door seal has come loose.

Disconnect the machine from the power. Open top hatch by removing two screws in the back and sliding top lid back and up to remove.

Check down from the top of the machine and feel around the door seal. Make sure there are no holes or tears in the seal. Try and refit seal. there is a metal ring around the drum and also around the front panel where the door seal joins. Make sure the are tight and fit in properly.

Let me know if I didnt understand the problem.

Good luck.
