Capacitors of power supply board in Monitor is bulging or busted. Get is replaced.

sounds like a capacitor in the power supply is going. Check caps and look for bulged or leaking component. Most new devices have non filled caps so you may not be able to judge these by a visual check.

Either the power supply or the backlight is going bad. Replacing either will be expensive ... might be better off replacing the monitor.

Try it on naother PC and also check the VGA/DVI cable. If it still does not work and you want to DIY repair, then please read below.

Most common failures in the LCD monitors are bad capacitors (bulging top/seal or leaking) in the power supply, failed inverter circuits (blown fuse, shorted transistors, shorted/open transformers), bad lamps (poor solder connections or worn out lamps). There may be different reasons. Try doing the following:
Change Power Options in Control Panel- Start>Control panel>power options>power schemes>Select NEVER on 'Turn off Monitor'
Check if the power cable is connected in a secured manner

I gueess u have changed the zoom....try pressing that button again...

try to set your screen resolution to maximum using Display Settings in windows. Besides, are all software drivers for this monitor loaded and properly installed? Right click My Computer=>Properties. select hardware => device manager. Make sure video icons are not marked with question marks. if they are, install monitor drivers shipped with your monitor.
