Hello Mikana, i have a brand new one and it also flashes the 90 and stain removel had the Candy eng out and it needs a new heater...all the electric goes throught this heater and if it detects a problem then it shuts down...the ones they fit at the company are not vrey good so the replacement is going to be better....ring Candy ........also if it has a large load capacity like 8kg don't under fill it it may send the drum of centre and this will stop the machine....self protection built in...hope this helps...cheers Dave

The pressure switch tube is only about 5mm in diameter so is easy to find, to be certain it is not blocked you need to remove it and check to see it is clear, and that the lower end where it is fixed is also clear, also make sure it is not punctured as this will result in loss of air pressure and stop the switch from working..
I assume it stops filling when you turn m/c off.
If it does not then you have a sticking water inlet valve.

If the belt and the motor are OK, then tell your friend to check the motor coupler, the MCU (motor control unit).

That job is for a very skilled person I would not take it on unless you are that person,by the way it comes in a kit TWO bearings and water shaft seal I would replace drum shaft as well Eamonn Ireland

Another pointer - - There might be a heat-sensitive fuse in the exhaust section of the dryer. The fuse is designed to turn off the heater element if the exhaust temperature gets too high. If this fuse is defective, it will keep the heater element from getting current. Good luck!
