Cant play back tracks no data

Did you add songs to it yet? To add songs to it plug it in the your computer and import the songs to it. If it still won`t work rebuild your data base. Doing so well factory reset your Walkman and fix any bugs in your Walkman.

Error message: "Cannot play; the license is expired"

I went to www.sony.com and was able to find the solution. If your songs were downloaded from services similar to Napster then you will have to log back into the service to refresh the licenses on the songs. If you no longer are subscribing to the service then you will need to delete the songs from your player. If you need further information you can find it on the Sony website.

CANNOT PLAY DOWNLOADED SONGS

What format are they? I don't think the Walkman will play M4a (iPod) files. You're best-off with Mp3 files at a bit-rate of 128mbps or 192mbps. I'm not sure if it can handle "lossless" quality music files.
