Hi, Here is a tip that may help you with your problem....
I found out that with my cameraI needed to transfer the pictures within the camera to the card and them fromthe card to the computer... The process for your camera may not be exactly the same, but should be similar.
No.The only way you can connect your camera to a computer is via usb connection cable (supplied) .Remove the card from the camera, then insert it into the card reader on your computer ..Be sure the memory card for your camera is compatible with your card reader.
The easiest way to transfer the pictures onto your computer is to remove the memory card and plug it into a card reader (either built in or a USB card reader if you have one). If not, you can connect your camera to your computer by the USB cable.
Once you plug the camera or the card in, Windows will usually ask you if you want to import the images. You can do that or import them manually by opening up the SD card or camera in my computer and dragging the files to the folder you want to store them in.
The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.
Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive. Or you can use any photo cataloging program.
With no card in the camera, go into the menu and find "format"...follow the on-screen instructions to erase the internal memory. Be sure the slide switch on the side of the card is unlocked and insert the card. It should work properly.
This should help
Press [ menu set] to display the [PLAY] mode
menu and select the item to set.
You can copy recorded picture data from
the built-in memory to a card or vice versa.
1 Press up/down to select the copy
destination: (in to card) and then press
[MENU/SET].
Remove the memory card. Go into the menu and find "reset"...follow the on-screen instructions. Then, go into the menu and find "format"...follow the on-screen instructions to erase the internal memory. Then insert your card and all should be well.
