You have Number Lock set on your PC - Have a look for a key top right hand side, it will have something like NumLck written on the KEY - you may need to use that Key in combination with the FN key - bottom left of keyboard - there should be a light somewhere on the keyboard which goes on/off as you toggle the NumLck key. You should see different coloured numbers on the key s*()UIOPJKLM These are the numbers and symbols that will be displayed when the NumLock is used
the only place I could find a A300 was on the Australian site - but could not get to your model as the site wanted more that just A300 - GR.
Looking at a few options that it might be
1) FN key + F11 Key
2) Run the virtual keyboard - Start > Programs> accessories > ease of access (on vista) >on-screen keyboard -
Look on the righthand side - where the number pad is - a key at the top of the Number Pad on the right called nlk - (mine is next to the / 4 keys in from the far right handside
3) Have a read here, toshiba key enabled in bios and also via the toshiba utility program http://forums.techguy.org/windows-xp/588... Start -> All Programs -> Toshiba -> Utilities -> Toshiba Assist
4) Lastly, I dont think we need to go to this - but worth noting - is a program to turn number lock on/off http://support.microsoft.com/kb/151715
