I have an AEG Lavamat 72630 update. It is several years old, and has become quite black around the rubber rim of the door frame. Last week my clothes started coming out with little black bits all over them. I have tried scrubbing the black stuff off and running the machine several times with soda crystals but it has not helped. A lot of the black stuff seems to be coming out with the water, as well as getting trapped in the rim of the door from which it doesn't seem to drain properly. Any suggestions as to what I can try.
Could also be a softener build up, put 1 cup of dishwasher powder in the machine and do a hot wash WITH NO CLOTHES IN THE MACHINE.Could also be a softener build up, put 1 cup of dishwasher powder in the machine and do a hot wash WITH NO CLOTHES IN THE MACHINE.

This is usually caused by the recycling pump running empty whilst the washing is still soaking up the initial fill water. as the water begins to soak the clothes it then starts to pass through the drum into the pump and the whole thing quietens down. running empty will not work. to test this theory try opening the drawer very slightly and filling it manually with a hose before starting the machine, (ONLY TO THE NORMAL LEVEL) and see if the noise is still as bad.
Yes this is the bearings, they have completely collapsed and the oil is leaking out onto your clothes. You will need a new tub rear and that is around £120 plus labour. Sorry its not better news.
Sorry- my wife is calling but here is a quick probable fix- the fabric softener drawer normally has some sort of cover, which needs to be removed, and underneath is a pipe/tube down which the softener and water mix siphons. This tube gets blocked by gunge- a mix of powder and softener. Ours does!
It has to be completely clear.
Error code E-20 means drain problem.
It means that the machine is not draining water correctly. Check the drain hose, to see if it is kinked or folded over. It could also be that the drain pump or drain hose are clogged. Drain the pump (check behind the little panel at the bottom right of the machine), first draining via the small emergency drain hose if you want to avoid a large puddle. Also get the fluff filter removed and checked. If the filter is clogged then it will not let the water to get drained. The fluff filter is behind the little trapdoor below and to the right of the drum on the front of the machine. Open the door, unscrew the filter, and pull it out. It will be covered in smelly slimy multi-coloured fluff, which you need to remove. When you remove the filter, there is a good chance that a fair bit of water will come out at the same time, so, if you can place a very low bowl or similar below the filter before you unscrew it it will save you from having to mop the floor. You can get required parts from www.repairclinic.com Thanks. e34 is listed on the 72630 as a conflict between the 2 water level pressure switches. A simple solution can be a blockage in the pressure chamber that the 2 pressure tubes attach. a faulty pressure switch or a more likely miss reading of the level control by the electronic. You need to be able to configure a new electronic to fit it . not a diy job.
all the e3x errors relate to water level problems.
When it sticks, is the tub empty of water? If so then you may need to change the cold water solonoid just inside machine where fill vaulves are fitted. good luck hope this works
I Have a Lava mat 72600 and it came up with E9 as this is not in the manual what should I be looking for? The machine gets redy to let the water in and it just makes a click is the solonoid Jammed or somthing else thios sems a comon prob as it is a question asked elsewhere. Also how do you get the top off with out breaking somthing?
Hello. I got error code C9 on a LAVAMAT 86800. It pumped in water, and it pumps out water. You can select pump in or out....But the motor dont turn. It will not sentrifuge. So I bought new carbon brush'es on the net. One of them were totally wore down. Now it works. They lasted for 10 years.
It is a communication problem between the circuit boards inside the machine. It might be as simple as unplugging and replacing the wires, or you may indeed require a new circuit board.
