hi the speaker wire or the plug has become disconnected, this can happen sometimes when moving from one place and moved by vehicle, put the tv down flat on the ground screen side and remove the stand then remove all screws around case. life the back off and on the speaker check it from there to the board, push the connector back on, and with a bit of isolation tape put some over the connector. if it has a female connector to male bend the round parts down with a pair of plyers so its a tight fit to the male connector. refit case in revers order.

How do you use the mixer with a regular combo amp and stereo mic cable?

This is not hard to do, but it will require some adapters. Hosa company makes adapters to accomplish this. For example, if your Stereo mic has "1/4 inch male phone plugs" Hosa makes and adapter that has 1/4 inch female plug to Male XLR connectors. The Mackie, and just about every mixer in the world these days has Female XLR connectors for it's microphone inputs. So that will handle tha.

I'm not sure what you mean by the "combo" amp. If it has XLR inputs you can use Tip Ring Sleve male output jacks to the output. If your amp as conventional 1/4 inch female input jacks. Than a simple
1/4 inch Male to Male Guitar Cable will work fine. DON'T USE A SPEAKER CABLE as it is uninsulated and you will get 60Hz hum.
I hope this helps,
That looks like a great quality mixer you have!

You can get a line splitter at Radio Shack,WalMart,BestBuy,Compusa etc. Just tell them you need a PC audio line splitter, they'll know what you mean. And they don't cost very much,$3-$4.Radio Shack will be the most expensive. You plug the male end into your audio board, and the male end from each set of speakers into the female end on the splitter. There's a link to a picture below.
If this helps, would you please rate my post?

I am trying to locate speaker connectors for the back of the Sony CMT-CP505MD system - any suggestions? Thank you

Hi,
Yes please gogto www.BogueEngineering.com
and you will find the special proprietary connectors for your system. All the big companies like Sony and Samsung will charge way too much for the cables and they only work with some systems but Bogue Engineering connectors and cables are universal so they work with all the systems at a fraction of the cost. Hope that helps! Thanks, Gary

I want to the ability to hook up another set of

Don't do it. The all-in-one box systems are not designed for modifications, hence the proprietary and prohibitive connectors. No more, no less than the supplied speakers. The amps are actually way more modest in power than the advertising hype would have you believe. If you do figure out a way to run more speakers in parallel you do so at the risk of damaging something.
