I FIRST HOOKED IT UP TO MY PC AND I THOUGHT IT WAS GOING TO WORK BUT THE FIRST WINDOWS XP SCREEN STARTED TO TWIST UNTIL IT WAS JUST A SCREEN FULL OF COLORED LINES - UNHOOKED IT FROM THE PC AND JUST PLUGGED IN THE POWER { TO TRY A MONITOR SCREEN CALIBRATION OR WHATEVER } & THE ONLY MESSAGES I GET ARE " OUT OF RANGE " OR "OSD LOCKED" - WHAT DOES THIS MEAN? WHAT DO I NEED TO DO? THE REMOTE DID NOT COME WITH IT
Found the amswer I think - for a 27inch monitor or anything over 20 inches I think - you need a high end video card - the computers with the all in one mother board with the onboard video card wont deal with a monitor that big - as for using it as a TV the " osd locked " message I got rid of by holding down the menu button on top [ no remote ] while tapping the down channel button until the osd was unlocked - then I had the menu & starded adjusting until I had a pretty good picture - not enough adjustment with red/green but a pretty good TV for free - thanks for all your suggestions - George
Hi,
Initially, could you pls try lowering the Screen Resolution of the PC itself. In some instances you may need to likewise lower the Screen Refresh Rate of the PC. Both can be adjusted inside the Display Properties.
Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.
Good luck and kind regards.
Thank you for using FixYa.
