If you mean the manual brake release, it is in the FRONT of the power chair, just above the footrest, in an opening 3" square. The two black levers need to be pressed DOWN to release the brakes so the chair can be pushed and then raised UP to restore the motor function. Some scooters have a manual reset button towards the rear of the machine, but the MPV5 does not.

Dreamline ST Edge 3 Electric Wheelchair How to fix #61

Error codes on electric wheelchairs like the Dreamline ST Edge 3 can indicate various issues with the chair's operation. Unfortunately, without more context about the specific error code #61 on the Dreamline ST Edge 3, it's challenging to provide a precise solution. These error codes can vary between different wheelchair models, and the manufacturer's documentation should always be your first point of reference for troubleshooting.
However, here are some general steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:
  1. Check the Manual: Consult the user manual or documentation that came with the wheelchair. It should have a section that explains the error codes and their meanings. This will give you a clearer idea of what error code #61 indicates.
  2. Restart the Chair: Sometimes, simply turning the chair off and then back on again can resolve temporary glitches. Make sure to turn off the chair, wait a few seconds, and then turn it back on.
  3. Check for Loose Connections: Inspect the connections, cables, and plugs around the control panel and the input devices (joystick, buttons, etc.). Ensure that everything is securely connected.
  4. Inspect Input Devices: If error code #61 is related to non-active input, it could be an issue with the joystick, buttons, or other control inputs. Check if the input devices are functioning properly. Press the buttons and move the joystick to see if they respond as expected.
  5. Battery Level: Sometimes, certain error codes can be triggered by low battery levels. Ensure that the wheelchair's batteries are fully charged. If the batteries are old or not holding a charge well, they might need replacement.
  6. Contact Manufacturer or Technical Support: If you're unable to resolve the issue using the above steps, it's recommended to contact the manufacturer's customer support or technical support. They should be able to provide specific guidance for error code #61 and help you troubleshoot the problem.
  7. Professional Service: If the issue persists and you can't resolve it on your own, it might be necessary to have a qualified technician or repair service take a look at the wheelchair. They have the expertise and tools to diagnose and fix complex issues.
Remember, working on electric wheelchairs requires a certain level of technical knowledge, and safety should be a top priority. If you're not comfortable performing troubleshooting steps yourself, it's best to seek assistance from professionals who are trained to handle these types of issues.

Where is the breaker switch of my quantum power wheelchair?

However, in most power wheelchairs, including quantum power wheelchairs, the breaker switch is typically located on the main control panel or near the battery pack.
Here are a few steps you can follow to locate the breaker switch in your quantum power wheelchair:
  1. Start by examining the control panel of your wheelchair. Look for any switches, buttons, or indicators that are labeled as "power," "on/off," or "reset."
  2. If you don't find any obvious switches on the control panel, check the area near the battery pack. The battery pack is usually located at the back of the wheelchair, underneath the seat. Look for a switch or lever that can be toggled to turn the power on or off.
  3. In some cases, the breaker switch may be integrated into the power cord or cable connecting the wheelchair to the electrical outlet. Inspect the power cord and check if there is a switch or button along its length.
  4. If you're unable to locate the breaker switch on your own, consult the user manual or contact the manufacturer of your quantum power wheelchair. They should be able to provide you with specific instructions on finding the breaker switch.
Remember to exercise caution when working with any electrical components and refer to the manufacturer's instructions or seek assistance if needed to ensure your safety and the proper functioning of your power wheelchair.

Power Wheelchair reset button location.

For every Power Wheelchair ever made in the history of power wheelchairs???

Did you connect the batteries correctly. They normally go in series to give 24 volts to the motors (2x12). If you have them in series, you will get nothing.

Google

and

Where is the reset button on this wheelchair

It sounds like the joystick has defaulted back to some other programming. A Reset Switch is a switch that plugs into one of the Mono ports on the joystick. You will need to either have the chair reprogrammed by a service/dealer of power chairs or purchase a reset switch (sometimes called a momentary switch) to plug in to the joystick. The Reset switch has a long wire with the proper plug on it. There are many different types and prices for one of those so getting the chair reprogrammed may be easier.

The only time the chair worked [approx. 1/2 hour] was when the repairman cleaned the cables. Since that, the chair charges, turns green for full charge, and only flashes red as soon as the joystick is...

hi.

the link below is for the owners manual for the quickie aspire power wheelchair, free download in pdf format.
http://www.wheelchair-review.co.uk/wheelchair-files/wheelchair-manuals/sunrise-medical-wheelchairs/quickie-aspire-power-wheelchair.pdf
the "cane crutch holder" is an acessory part that you can get, fitted to the back of the seat, to hold a crutch or cane. it does not affect the chair itself at all.
there are two most likely reasons for your problem, neither of which actually involve the arm and controller.
1. if the battery light is flashing 9 times when you try to move, then you need to check the motor locks are engaged properly. see page 27 of the manual for photos and location. these are also known as "freewheel levers" and allow you to disconnect the motors to push the chair manually. if the levers are engaged properly, it is quite possible that the switch, or switch wires have broken and the chair thinks that they are off. these are very cheap and easy to replace and are located where the lever connects inside the chair.

2. if the battery light comes on and stays on, then you may need to have the batteries checked. if the batteries have not been charged for a while then sulphur may have built up on the lead plates inside the battery. this can mean that the batteries will show fully charged, but as soon as you try to draw power, they cannot function due to the sulphur, and instantly show as flat.
any auto shop should be able to perform a battery load test for you to test this. a 100amp load test for about 6 seconds will test the battery performance and let you know if they need replacing. most places will do this test for free but the batteries need to be fully charged first.

hopefully, one of these solutions will work as these are the most common fault for the symptoms you are describing. you should find the manual quite useful as well.

please feel free to ask if you need more information.

hope this helps

On/off button not working properly hard to turn off

glenda the switch has a metallic coating under it that makes contact with the circuit board If this coating gets worn then the switch will be hard to turn on -off. Carefully peel back the faceplate cover until you can see the bottom of the on/off switch glue a small piece of foil to the bottom of the switch and support the cover until it dries then carefully stick it back to the joystick Should work like new Hope this helps
