Just replaced the lamp, but the hour meter needs to be reset funtion is on. How do you reset the lamp hour meter ?

Be sure the power cord is plugged into a properly grounded wall outlet. Then, press the POWER button on the projection display or the remote control to turn the unit on.


While pressing the VOL- button on the projection display, hold down the PIP or SPLIT button on the remote control at same time for more than 5 seconds.


When reset procedure is complete, the screen will indicate that the lamp has been reset!


NOTE: When lamp time reset is finished, the LAMP indicator goes out!

Replaced XD300U projector lamp. Need to know how to reset lamp timer. Won,t turn on because lamp timer has expired to 0. Needs to be reset. Lost our manual. Please help.

"Reset the lamp counter
i. Press and hold Exit on the projector
for 3 seconds to display the total used
lamp time.
ii. Press Menu on the projector or on
the remote control to access the lamp
hour timer. An adjustment message
will appear.
iii. Press or to reset lamp hours
and press EXIT to leave."

Replaced the bulb yesterday- the projector does not recognize the change- getting a default message to change it... And there is a strange smell (we also changed the filter (after 5 yrs)

copied from manual
select the menu - default - clear lamp hour meter to reset lamp usage hours.
Note when the lamp exceeds 2100 hours (3100 in Eco mode) the projector cannot turn on and the menu is not displayed if this happens do the following while in 'standby' to clear values for Remaing lamp Time and lamp hour meter for vt670/470 press the help button on remote control for a minimum of 10 secs When the lamp clock is reset to zero the lamp indicator goes out.

turn your tv on. on the tv it self press and hold the " - " like your turing it down. then on your remote press and hold the number " 0 " for five seconds. it should say the the meter has been reset to zero.

Here is proceudre to reset lamp timer in your TV..
While pressing the VOL Down button on the projection display, hold down the PIP or SPLIT button on the remote control at same time for more than 5 seconds.
When reset procedure is complete, the screen message ' lamp time was reset to 0' will appear.

Panasonic PT-50LC13 reset hour meter

on the tv itself push the volume down button and at the same time using the remote control press the pip button. I just did this on my tv - had the same problem. it worked perfectly. Jeanne

Lamp Hour Meter

This proceedure should work for your model to reset the lamp meter.
Lamp Time Reset Procedure:
Be sure to reset the Lamp time to "0" after replacing the new
Lamp.
1. Plug in the AC Cord, and turn on the power by pressing the
POWER button.
2. Press and hold the VOLUME DOWN button on the unit and
the SPLIT key on the remote together for over 5 seconds
in power on condition.
When the reset is finished, the display will indicate that the lamp hrs have been reset to 0 and the LAMP LED goes out.
