How to resolve Canon Printer Error Code 6502?

Solution 1:
  • Unplug the printer.
  • Remove the faulty Cartridge
  • Plug in the printer and press and hold power button
  • Keep it held down. Press Resume twice, and this should reset the fault.

Solution 2:
  • The last cartridge installed may be faulty.
  • Install a new cartridge

Solution 3:
  • When error is indicated, turn power switch off so green light is extinguished.
  • Hold down resume button and hold down power button so both are held down at same time
  • When green light comes on, continue holding down power button and let resume button go, then press resume button twice.
  • Let power button go.
  • Press resume button four times, power button should be released before doing this.
  • Wait until printer settles down, if power is off, turn on. If power will not come on, remove power cord from back of printer, then wait 15 seconds before plugging back in again and turn power on.

42HDS69 On off switch won't work sometimes

The clicks are coming from a mechanical relay in the standby supply for voltage---the standby power supply runs 7/24 if set is plugged into power.

What I would do if you are able is open set and on power board (power cord goes to it) look for and replace any filter caps that are puffed up there--the relay is possible but rarely bad in this way unless a solder connection under it is bad.

If caps are good you have a connection or bad part near the relay that likely is causing this problem.

Look closely at filter caps in power supply:

even one that is slightly puffed up can cause this, if find that and need to know what and how let me know.

Computer won't turn on

Try a different power outlet, or plug directly into the wall.
This does sound like a bad power supply. You can get replacement power supplies just about everywhere computers are sold. It'll set you back about $50 and is relatively easy to install.

Sony Plasma TV

I had this same exact issue yesterday. I own the same TV model and here is what SONY had me do to get the picture back. Ultimately the picture comes back, but it will be very dim and needs repair. Most likely a power supply issue. Try these steps:

-Press power off or leave with standby light on for 5 minutes (wait the full 5 minutes)
-Unplug TV / Press top buttons 5 times each to remove static from system boards (yes, each button 5 times each)
-Wait one full minute and plug TV in and press power on

Sony FWD50PX2/S 50 in. Plasma Television power problem

It does sound like a power supply problem but that can be misleading because a problem somewhere else in the TV can be "holding down" the power supply. This can usually be determined by using some isolation techniques.
