Camera is currently equipped with a Leica 12X zoom lens. I would like to be able to take pcs. from a greater distance than this lens permits. Can you recommend a lens that I can attache to the Panasonic DMC-F27 that will enable me to do so? Thank you!!
It's probably something to do with a lag or jam on your shutterspeed. so when you hit the button, and move you get a little blur. If its not this you might need to have your lens cleaned inside and out due to the camera zooms and catches the blurs on the lens after zooming so far in. I would recommend taking it to your local camera shop for adjustments and cleaning.
Your camera focus problem mostly deal with machanical parts. So changing them easily will solve the problem. But unfortunately you may not do it yourself. Because it is highly complicated process. In deed it needs lots of repairing devices which are found only in services. According to me the service had given you the best answer. Please accept their advice. Good luck.
I believe the FZ7 determines that the lense cap is still on when it can't extend the zoom lense because the lense cap is in the way. I would check to see if your zoom lense housing is somehow stuck (could be sand or dirt in it) which is creating enough resistance to make the camera think the lense cap is impeding the zoom lense from extending.
