This could already be a hardware problem. What is the brand and model of your netbook? When you turn it on where you able to see the windows logo? how bout the bios splashscreen? Do the following steps just for a check. 1) Remove the battery and the power connection. 2) Press and hold the power button for about 10 seconds. 3) Reconnect the power connection. Do not connect the battery. 4) Turn it back on. (Did it go into windows?) 5) Disconnect the power. connect the battery. 6) Turn it back on. (Did it go into windows?) Tell me all the details as to what you could see from the screen. Thank you.

You might have dislodged the drive and or memory sticks, turn comp over and remove the 2 or 3 panels, you will see the drive and the memory sticks just gently push them back into place and reattach cover panels.
hope this helps

Netbook wont start

there is a way to re-set system but you will lose all you have put on it. recovers system to factory settings, kinda like when it was bought... restart and hold ALT key and tap F10 and it will go thru recovery mode. I don't recommend this if you have important info you don't want to lose. Hope this helps

My acer is stuck in the Windows xp screen and wont start up, I had turned it off and restarted it get to safe mode screen, but had not helped.

When you restart your laptop, keep pressing F8 until you see the "Windows Advanced Options Menu:"

Then choose "Last Known Good Configuration".

This will restore your computer to a previous configuration and might undo some changes you did to your computer before the problem happened.

Weird. Make sure that there is nothing else on the screen it wants you to select. Sometimes they are not so obvious.
If not, hold the power button down until the computer shuts off and restarts, but like I said, make sure there is nothing else on the screen that it may want you to select.
Hope this helps.

Windows start up file corrupted. If you cannot access it through safe mode, you will need to reinstall or do a repair install of windows. As this netbook has no DVD drive ( as far as I can recall), you will need to EITHER boot from an external USB DVD Rom drive, OR if you have not got one of these, then you will need to go onto another computer, download this:

I want to restore my dell netbook to factory

FOr this if you have windows vista

1. Restart your compuetr and the moment you see something on screen start tapping F8 key slowly and keep tapping utill you see a black screen with some optioons in white color.
2. The first option will be Repair your computer. Highlight it and select that by hitting enter.
3. It will take you to screen where you will find some option where there would be 6 options and you have to select the last one.
4. It will ask you for confirmation of data deletion you can proceed if you dont want data.
5. It will take 15 to 20 mins to complete the procedure and the system will restart.

If you are using windows Xp

1. WHen you restart the computer you have to press and hold Ctrl key and then you have to keep tapping F11 key and it will take you to the same screen where it will ask you for data deletion.

This is how you can proced on.

thanks

Hp mini wont start

i had a similar problem. this made my netbook start again. turn off your netbook and then remove the battery. then (with the battery still out) slide the power switch into the on-position and hold it there for a minute. then reinsert the battery and turn on your netbook. as soon as it turns on, keep repeatedly pressing the F10 key till you see your screen light up. then login normally and go to the hp site and download the driver for your netbook. i think its under BIOS? hope this helped. sorry if it didnt...
