I put a load of laundry in and closed the door. Started and water seemed to go in alright, but it did not spin or drain. Different noise than usual and then an error occurred 02 hit cancell/stop twice and then after a few minutes the error sud appearred. Now I can't get my wet clothes out of the washer.
If you can drop down drain hose to floor level then drain into bucket this will allow you to open the door . Sounds like coin in the pump /remove the filter and clean check pump blades are free...Good luck

Most probably your door lock is damaged. You are not supposed to force it open, you have to wait for at least 2 minutes (or till the lock sign is off) after the wash is over to open the door, never force it. You can just google your model number and search for parts to obtain it. It is quite possible you can change it yourself. See that the line is disconnected from the mains.
Hallo there So it will not do what it is told. This happened to my Candy machine the other day. It was finished and I opened the door, out came water and I got 5 towels on the floor to dry up the water. Closed the door again and put empty water on, it emptied the water, stopped the machine and put spin on and it made it. My experience ,learned the hard way, to wait long enough after the machine stops as well as between changing programs. I this will be of some use to you. Kolbrun
I suspect that the logic board has developed a fault and probably needs replacing. 'Phone your Indesit Service Centre and get an engineer out. I believe a replacement board costs about £100 fitted, but a 12-month service plan paid monthly may be a bit cheaper, and will cover further breakdowns. Unfortunately, these boards are not the most robust or reliable examples of technology.
Turn off the power to the machine; preferably unplug it.
If you can open the door(?), bale out the drum by hand. I don't think there's a pump/filter access panel on this machine, so it's not easy to get the water out. You could try
disconnecting the discharge hose from the pipework, then lower the open end over a washing-up bowl so that the water drains from the drum by gravity. It depends how close to the floor you can get the open end. When enough water has drained, it should be possible to open the door to remove the laundry. Sorry, this may take a while.
Hope this has helped.
Hi, Make sure you are allowing the washer to completely finish its cycle before opening the door. It is normal for the door to lock at the end of a cycle. The locking mechanism keeps owners from opening the door before all of the water has been drained. If the door on the washer is locked, select the "Drain" or "Spin" options on the front-load washer. This will completely drain the water from the system and unlock the door, allowing you to open it. Thank you !!

Laundry load is unbalanced, manually loosen any tangled laundry. If only one item of clothing needs washing, such as a bathrobe or jeans, the final spin result might be unsatisfactory and an UE error message will be shown in the display. Unbalance error is cleared by POWER switch OFF and back ON.

sounds as if you have a lid lick/door switch issue, the machine is not recognizing the door being closed and for safety reasons will not enter spin/drain.. open anc\d close lid a few times slowly, cam you hear a "clicking noise" whe njust about closed?? id assume not replace teh lidswitch
The door should be locked closed when a cycle begins.. That may be part of the problem.. however here is a link to the service manual for you to examine Note that page 7 shows the whereabouts of the filter,..Page 10 shows how to test the door locking system as well as drum fwd and reverse rotation...and how to drain the remaining water in the tub with the hose... http://136.166.4.200/contents/Laundry/WM2688/WM2688_Service_Manual.pdf
If you have never cleaned the filter then there is a good chace it is blocked up and water cannot drain in the normal manner so I would examine and address that first. If I've helped you resolve your problem, please input the appropriate rating .. Good Luck...
