I have one handle on my side by side Kenmore refrigerator that the finish seems to either be stained or simply wearing off. I have tried multiple cleaning products and nothing seems to work.I need to mask the problem not replace the handles as we are moving, Thank You.

This may be caused by some kind of wash product or softener product. You may be using too much. You can use a blue glass cleaner or small amounts of mild abrasive cleaner and water to try to remove it. Drums are made of porcelain or stainless steel and should 'never' wear out.
SOURCE: TRYING TO REMOVE A REAR DOOR OUTER HANDLE
Lower hole in the door jamb loosten allen screw until the cap comes off. Upper hole there is a #20 torx slightly down and inboard of the hole, you need a really long torx bit and pull the handle out slightly. It also helps to pull weatherstrip loose so you can see it.

You may have a worn door bearing. Have a look. Both sides have the same hinge assembly for comparison. Also possible that the hinges have come loose.
Clean out the hinge by spraying on a little WD 40 first...it may fix everything.

SOURCE: Refrigerator won't fit thru door.
I ran into the same problem when I moved into my old house. the door way was to small, so I had to take both doors off the refrigerator to get it through the doorway. But I found out when I moved out of the house, that I was able to open both doors and wiggle it through the doorway. It was a hassle but it was alot easier that removing the doors. Good luck.
