How to remove casing from kenmore elite top loader screws are in the rear of washer

on a top loader the controls are flipped up then the cabinet gets removed
front loader yall remove screws from the back and lift the top off

If this is a FRONT LOADER, just follow these simple steps:

1. UNPLUG the washer.

2. Remove the top panel of the washer by locating and removing the three screws that hold the panel in place in the rear of the washer. With the screws removed, the panel will slide back, then lift off.

3. The pressure switch is located on the right hand side rear of the washer (as viewed from the front). Disconnect the connector plug and air hose.

4. Remove the mounting screw (if equipped). Some of this switches simply clip in place.

If this is a TOP LOADER, the pressure switch will be located inside the operator console behind the load level selector knob. Some of these consoles have a removeable back, others you have to lift up for access.

Look at following areas for the model number:

* Back Top Control Panel
* Right Rear Corner Of Washer Top Lid
* Open Lower Left Front Base

FRONT LOADERS


Look at following areas for the model number:

* Rear Center Of Door Well
* Left Upper Back On Base Cabinet
* Back Top Control Panel
* Right Rear Corner Of Washer Door
* Open Lower Left Front Base

F35 is a water level error.
The water level switch (pressure switch) has malfunctioned.

If you remove the top panel, three screws in the back, you will have access to the pressure switch.

With the tub empty, remove the vinyl hose from the switch and blow backwards through the hose to clear any restrictions.

If the fault codes return after doing this, you will likely need to replace the pressure switch.

Remove the lower front panel 3 screws across the bottom. Pump will be behind this panel.

remove top replace fill valve left rear be sure not to remove the screens inside valve except to clean but be sure to reinstall or trash may get into valve and not allow proper shutoff

It would help if I had your model number, but I'm assuming you have a Kenmore top loader that has the fill hoses attached under the left rear of the washer casing. With the brass clips removed, you should be able to move the cabinet off the frame slightly to give you enough room to reach your hand under the wash tub rim and disconnect the hoses. You may need a set of pliers to remove the hose clamps. I hope this helps you.
