Hello George, hi it seem your TV is on standby mode, this happens when the power supply board detects a short, overload or any part on both main and power supply board gone bad. This needs to be checked properly by a highly skilled tech people. The problem could be the main board or the power supply board. we usually check first the main board, for any bad parts, like loose screws/wiring, bulging capacitors, overheating ICs, or water marks. If a OK, we then check the power supply board, well usually this is the culprit, bulging capacitors, or overheating regulator. or you could replace the entire power supply board. check for its availability online or on your dealer, ask also for service if the charge is reasonable.
