Open the door and gently pull on the grey rubber gasket and check all around it for holes / tears. There are three tiny holes in the 'wall' at the bottom that are supposed to be there, but you should not see any other tears. I just found a large tear on mine that causes leaks when I run very large loads. I am going to try to fix it with Gorilla Tape, otherwise I will probably have to buy the whole new gasket. It seems like it would be a real pain to replace!

Slip a sheet of newspaper under the bottom of the machine and it will indicate the area. If is does it when the machine is not running. My guess is that it is around the pump because some water always sits there, so either the pump body or the drain hose itself.

How do you remove the cover of a Kenmore elite top load washer . Have a leak and need to find where it is coming from.

water coming from the bad seal on the shaft. Lift agitator, bolt underneath, loosen pull out basket. From spindle. ..seal underneath. Must take cover off first. Slide a butter knife at edges in front at seam. there's a two ,clips. in there. Usually 2 bolts up towards top on inside edge of front cover. Make sure power cord unplugged.turn basket upside down. You will see seal.

Saeco cappacino maker leaking

Hi
If its leaking under the water tank, its this.
There is a seal on top of the machine under the water tank. To get to it, remove the water tank, and set aside. There is a large doughnut shaped cap on top of the machine. Slip a screwdriver on the outside edge of the cap and pry up gently. When it snaps up, go to the other side of the cap and do the same. There is a black seal in the center and if you stick your finger in the center and it lifts out, it needs to be replaced. Clean any residue inside the opening with a Q-tip.
When you get the new seal, it won't slip in. Insert it at a slight angle (double lips down), then take your finger nail and run it around the bottom edge of the seal until it slips in, then push down. Snap the cap back on and your set to go.
If its leaking under the machine, its your boiler.
If its leaking into the dredge drawer, its the thiumbscrew in the brew unit, that holds the filter screen in.
If its under your drip tray there is a pocket behind the brew unit that has a cloged drain, just above the center of the drip tray in back.

My Kenmore 700 series washer has been leaking water. When the tub is filling with water, water seems to leak along the front bottom edge of the machine in several areas. I'm left with a huge puddle of...

First ck to see if your water pump is leaking. It normally leaks when the machine is running not just filling. Also look at all the attaching rubber hoses under the machine and see if water is leaking down the back right side of the machine and then running around the frame to the front long shot but possible.

Water leaking from front right corner - not hoses

The leak is coming from the area of the drain pump, but you will need to remove the lower toe panel directly below the door to sufficiently inspect where the leak may be coming from. The access screws are located under the bottom front edge of the panel. With the screws removed, the panel will drop down, then come off. The following link explains what to look for:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r3576656-washer_leak__front_loader

Make sure you check all hose connections on the drain pump and make sure the drain pump reservior cap (if equipped) is on tight. If you have any questions, please post back with your MODEL NUMBER and let me know. I hope this helps you.

Water Leaking

Dear Customer,
The likely reasons for a leaking AC are...
1) Improperly installed.
A window air conditioner must be slightly lower at the rear than the front. This allows the water being removed from the room to drain to the back of the machine. A difference of one inch is sufficient. This is always the first thing to check. Many are improperly installed in the haste to get relief from the heat. If installed too low at front the water will flow into the room rather than outside. If installed too low at rear, water can roll out front edges before has chance to exit towards rear drain.

  1. Icing up.
Water being de-humidified can turn to ice if there are problems with the cooling system. There are many reasons for an air conditioner to produce ice. Remove front grille while machine is operating. If ice is present on the cooling coil you will probably need service. For more information see our other article: Why window Air Conditioners Ice up.

  1. Air leakage around air conditioner.
If warm air is able to enter around the air conditioner it will encounter cooler, dryer air. When they meet condensation will occur. If water leaking from front of air conditioner inspect to see if dripping from body of machine, or water droplets clinging to front area. To test, operate machine for 30 minutes and then use flashlight to check under front edge of base. Small water droplets here indicate an air leakage problem. Add foam insulation to stop warm air from infiltrating.

  1. Drain hole blocked.
Rear of air conditioner base has a drain hole or groove to allow water to escape. If becomes blocked water can back up. To test, operate machine for 30 minutes and then inspect if draining properly. If appears blocked use a small piece of wood to open drain hole at rear of metal base. CAUTION: Never be tempted to drill holes into the air conditioner body to relieve water pooling. Severe damage can result.

  1. Internal drains blocked.
There are small passageways that allow water to drain from front of air conditioner to the rear. If they become blocked water will pool at front of machine and overflow onto floor. If this happens the air conditioner will require removal from window and servicing.

  1. Outside temperature too cold.
This occurs at end of cooling season. If outside temperatures drops below 60 degrees Fahrenheit at night the cooling coil may ice up. If no leakage at bedtime but water in front of machine in morning, suspect this problem. If this problem suspected turn off machine before bedtime and restart as day warms. Alternately, operate machine at night with selector switch in ‘fan only’ position. This will circulate room air during night but not allow cooling.
Hope u find this useful. I'll be thankful if u could rate this. thank you.

WATER LEAKING UNDER THE INDESIT WASHING MACHINE. MAKES TOO MUCH NOISE. WALKS AWAY SOMETIMES!

Check by taking off the top of the machine.
There may be screws behind it at the top that fasten the top.
Take them out and push back hard and lift the top.
Otherwise if yours has spring clips under the top at the front, then get a screw driver and push in at the clips which should be visible under the front edge of the top to release the two clips.
Then examine what seems to be leaking by looking down inside.
if not visible that way, you can tip it on it's front and look at the bottom of the machine.
Then tell mne what you see leaking.

Leaking washing machine - hotpoint aquarius 1100 - wm63

water leaks are very hard to locate as the water always drips from the bottom, it is just a case of detailed looking, after a while there will be a dry white mark where the water has dried out, this will show where the leak originated from, there are a few things at the front of the machine that it could be, sorry can't help much more nearly all parts can be bought by the public and with common sense and taking very detailed notes where wires came from etc, most jobs can be done by a competent diy person with basic electrical knowledge remember water and electric do not mix always unplug from power supply where working on any appliance
