Panasonic Mini DV NV-GS11EG "push the reset button"

Sometimes my Panasonic Mini DV NV-GS11EG will suddenly say Push the reset button, but as many times as I do this it keeps repeating that. I used to be able to take out the battery and it would work again but nothing works anymore.
the last period problem has been deteriorating and its is indicating to push the reset button continuously. I removed the battery and put it back, then again it started blinking indicating to push rest button again. I pressed the reset button again. After one or two second it started indicating to push the rest button. I cannot open the cassette holder also.

You need to know in which position was camera turned of.
So try turning it on in RECORD OR PLAY position.
It will work then...

I also have the same problem but no solution. Howevever I suspect it is related to the tape drive because initially I could resolve it by changing the tape. Now it just wont close the tape door so I don't know what to do next. Please help !!

Push the reset button

This error indicates a cassette mechanism malfunction.
It happens usually when you don't operate the camecorder for long time
leaving the cassette inside and the battery attached.
Solution:
1. Open the cassette housing and nock GENTLY with your finger tip
on the cassette cabinet (particularly on the position marked "push") until
the cassette is released.
2. Push on the right place (marked "push") to close and then close the
cassette housing
3. Operate the cassette (play, fast forward/backward).
Repeat the above steps several times until the problem is gone.
Advise: Remove the battery and cassette when leaving the camecorder
for long period without being operated, and store the camcorder in a
dust/humidity protected place.
Hope this can help.

My Panasonic nv-gs75eg 3ccd digital video camera is not working.

Did you chk whethere the symptom was there in Camera mode ? If camere mode is OK and if you are getting strips in tape mode, then head cleaning may solve your problem. If it is present in camera also, You will have to check LCD hinge Unit (strip)for brokenor cracked.

Push the reset button

My camera has been doing this too, searched this site not through product but problem and found this solution posted by "margarita" for another camera. Said to try removing/replacing the tape. When I pushed the eject button the tape did not come up, removed the battery for a minute and tried again. This time the tape came up so I removed it and put it back in, it seems to have worked. The reset button is not flashing and it did record and playback when I tried them.
