LG wm2101hw 4.0 cu.ft front load washer is leaking water out vent in back of washer. Yes, the vent that exits the rear panel of the washer.

Same problem. LG stated I am using too much soap. Cant be because it still does it with no soap. Also have issues with spinning on bed comforter and also drum will not drain. I can wring out a 16oz of water from a cotton shirt sitting in the bottom of drum when completed. Floor is flooded and I am **********. Bought in April 2010 and have had 4 techs out to look at it, but there is no problem. Biggest waste of 600 I ever spent.

Same issue. But not noticed due to location of washer, floor damaged. Thought the water damage from old drain pipes. Opened up back of washer, missing pin that keeps shock absorer in place!

You say that you replaced the door switch, but you need to check that the spring of the latch hook inside the door is working properly, otherwise it does not hook properly and will cause these problems.

It's very common for the sump hose to have a hole in it causing it to leak. The quickest way check is to tip the washer back and examine the sump hose by stretching it, as you stretch the hose you should find your leak. You'll also want to check the door gasket for cuts and the drain pump assembly for leaks. Let me know what you find.

If its leaking by that amount there will almost certainly be a pipe that has pulled loose somewhere at the soap box due to the soap suds leaking over the floor. To see the workings, remove the top lid and start a cycle and observe. Go from there.
