Thanks for clarifying that for me. The simple answer is the Denon home theater isn't able to convert the signal from your Bell receiver into an HDMI compatible format. You'll need to use either S-Video or the regular yellow cable to connect your Home theater to the television. The HDMI out provided would only work for the internal DVD player. This is a limitation of HDMI, not a problem with your home theater. You need HDMI in (or DVI in) to get HDMI out.

Yes I have, it was originally by using coax cable. I tried the cable box (sat receiver 4100) on another tv to make sure that the receiver was not defective, and it worked as it should. I used the yellow, red and white into my Sony receiver and I had no issues. I have the yellow, red and white hooked to the AUX1 in on the back of the Denon s-301 home theatre, sound but no video. My sat receiver is not HD, no hdmi out from it.
If swich to a HD receiver do you think this would help?

Hi Adam, First, have you ever gotten any picture on your TV from the Bell receiver? With any of the cables? Have you ever gotten a picture in the "Aux 1" input? Is Aux 1 on the Denon (receiver?) or on your television? Are you connecting the Sat. receiver to the Denon using an HDMI cable?
