Did you check the batteries for voltage. Its possible you bought a bad battery. Touch both sides with a digital meter.
Remove the battery and use a clean pencil erasor to carefully rub all battery contact points.....then use a vacuum attachment to ensure you have removed all erasor debris. Re-insert the battery and see if it works. If not, something is wrong internally which will require service from the manufacturer.
I hope you find this information to be very helpful to you moving forward. :-)
Remove the battery and confirm the voltage of 3V. It could be a defective new battery. From your descriptions I believe your battery is weak. Good luck let me know how it goes.
They are independent systems, that's why some work and some don't. Besides using the same battery, there aren't many other similarities.
I'll be honest, I'm not sure. The easiest thing is to do with things like this are to send them in for a warranty repair. But I may be able to help you if this isn't an option. First, if you don't have the manual you can view it here. I've also included a breakout of the functions below.
If you reset the watch you have to set the touch mode and zone information before certain features will work:
Compass, Alarm, and Time do not require the Zone information to be configured. The other features do. I can only assume that something in how the altitude sensor works varried from the northern to the southern hemisphere. (...maybe it's like how toilet water flushed in two different directions.) See if setting this up helps, it only takes a minute.
Keep in mind even after the zone is set that the altimeter will still
require adjustment every few days or whenever there's a
weather change. Select the altimeter, hold the upper or lower button
until you have the correct altimeter reading for where you are and it
will hold for a few days.
If that doesn't work...RESET the watch again, and set time again. You may have only had a partial reset.
If it still doesn't work something is broken in the watch, since the electronics are all one integrated component; there isn't really anything you can do but have the watch serviced.

Hi,
when a watch display blank screen, Means the screen board is getting weak.
In this process you will need to service the watch for it to restore it self and work properly again.
I would advice if you do not know how to service the panel inside, you can give it to a watch repairer to fix it for you in other to prevent further damage on the watch.
Take care.
Hi, Reset: AC point is not located under the battery. It is at the edge of
movement. Get an eyeglass with good magnification and you will find it.
Or

Hi, thank you for your speedy reply, I've read your comments prior to joining 'FixYa' & that solution still doesn't work. I have reset with the bendy switch while pressing the middle button, the reset was successful. I don't really want to contact Tissot just to change a battery as this will cost £50+, but I may end up doing as ive tried everthing... Thanks Mark
Hi & Thanks for the input. Why does the Alarm, Compass & Chrono still work fine? I have successfully Calibirated the Compass also? They must be related? Thank You. Mark
