SOURCE: Tape will not eject, and reset button does NOTHING!
I am having the exact sam problem on my PV-GS14. Have you been able to resolve the problem? If you have, how were you able to get the tape out? Thanks

Hi, I have a Panasonic NV-DS38 which does exactly the same thing. I spent £160 in a repair lab to fix a year ago and now its doing the same thing again. V annoying. But I have found its something to do with the loaded tape. Try a different tape or try ejecting, powering off, powering on and reloading the tape. Its a workaround rather thasn a solution but have a go and let me know. Martin

I had the same problem, just read info on site tried another tape and problem solved. The tape was incompatable.

I have the same problem with my new Panasonic Camcorder, and found out the problem came from using a mini DV tape rewinder to rewind the tapes (all brand new). It looks that the camcorder does not read the length after the rewinding. I spent an hour to forword the tape to its end by a pencil then the error is gone. Not a good solution but there is a reason.

after reading the above solution, a few swift taps to the bottom got it to work. I guess it is just be careful, but if it happens - show it some tough love
