(1) Uninstall the printer driver COMPLETELY and then reinstall it.
(2) If that doesn't work go to https://www.Canon.com. Select printers. Select iP2600. Find the driver for that printer - it may have been updated and since Microsoft constantly updates various files your current driver may no longer be compatible with Windows or Mac (whichever you own). If it's a Mac my comment is still valid - lots of updates. I had to do this recently with an HP printer that stopped working. I installed the printer driver update and the printer immediately started working again. This is an ongoing problem for everybody!

go to cannon site. go to download or support to find your driver. these sites are very easy to use. be sure you search for right model number and correct windows os.
Download the driver you need from the Cannon web-link that I provided for your model below. Windows will install it and ask you where the driver (the one you download) is located on your computer.
You will see the driver is for windows 2000, and down the bottom tick the Agree to download box and you will be able to download the drivers. Once downloaded run the installation package and it should install the drivers for you.
