Check the drum suspension springs (under the top cover); as sometimes they'll slip out of their holders. this will cause the drum to "drop'' and will no longer align with the door. also, check the lower drum "shocks" (inspect behind rear access panel) for damage too.

My LG washer makes a horrendous noise when it in use. what could cause this?

Open door and see if you can move inner tub without the outer rub moving. If you can the 'spyder' which hold inner drum to axel hub is broken. Post results in comment section

Water leak from door of LG front load washer

First, clean off the bottom of the door glass where it contacts the gray tub gasket when the door closes. Any hair or other build up can result in leakage. Second, if that does not completely solve your leak, you can move the location of the spring which holds the tub gasket from the very bottom (6 O'clock position) to the hinge area (9 O'clock position). Third: Sometimes, the reason you get a leak is due to the installation. If the washer was pushed into place by applying pressure in the center front of the washer, the outer front panel can be slightly deformed (inwerd) resulting in leakage from the door. If that is the case, sometimes you can remove the outer clamp and outer part of the gray seal and pull out on the front panel to correct the situation if it is not too severe, rather than replacing the entire front panel.

HOW DO U YOU CLEAN IT

When the washer is not in use you should leave the door open at least a crack to let the washer air out. About once a month, pour about a cup of bleach, white vinegar or washer magic in the tub and turn the washer onto the clean cycle or just a hot cycle if clean cycle is not available with no clothes in the washer. washer the inside glass door especially near the bottom of the door. This is where alot of dirt and hair accumulates. Make sure that you are using HE soapl

How to Replace Bearing Ball on a LG Front Load Washer??? The bearing ball is leaking water and makes loud noise. need to fix problem please help.

The rear half of the outer wash drum (which contains the rear bearing and tub shaft seal) needs to be replaced. On a 1 - 10 scale, this rates a difficulty rating of about an 8. An experienced appliance tech can do it in about 2 hours, and hit you up for about $500. I do not suggest this as a do it yourself repair. Did you know that the new LG machines use a balance ring to make them much smoother running? (Hint: It may be wiser to replace the machine.)

Washer tub wobbles, washer is level, on spin cycle the tub wobbles so bad it sounds like the tub is hitting the washer.

Sounds like a drum bearing problem , unless you are an engineer , suggest call service agent for estimate.

I have exactly the same problem!

Try using the tub clean cycle and use a good dose of bleach or vinegear. Here is how to run the tub clean cycle.

To start the TUB CLEAN cycle:
1. Remove any clothing or items from the washer and close the door.
2. Open the dispenser drawer and add liquid chlorine bleach to the bleach compartment.
NOTE: Do not add any detergent to the detergent compartments. Excessive suds may be produced and leak
from the washer.
3. Close the dispenser drawer slowly.
4. Power On and then press the Extra Rinse button for 3 seconds. (Prewash option will be selected.)
5. Press the Start/Pause button to start.
6. After the cycle is complete, leave the door open to dry around the washer door opening, door seal and
door glass.

Lg Front loading washing machine

most times on the Lg washer the lint trap is clogged and something may be hitting the impeller on the pump and causing it not to drain. remove the plastic cover on the lower left bottom and unscrew the black lint filter at the pump. you will get water on the floor there is no way to avoid that. clean the trap and make sure there is nothing inside the housing to block the pump impeller. replace the trap and run a rince cycle to check for proper draining.

LG Front Loading Washer overflows at detergent dispenser

you mean where you put the regular HE soap in? That slot is normal to overflow. The water carries the soap down (Lift the little doohickie up, it's removable for powder deterg.), and it carries it all the way to the tub...Unless i don't get it...but I'm reading the phrase "Its like the water will not go down to the tub.", and it makes me think the whole tray is overfilling with water..if this is the case, I can't help you, but filling over of the Main HE Soap tray is normal. (Just a little, if the whole thing starts filling uncontrollably, hit the power button.)
