A blinking led means it is on standby waiting for a signal, it also is an indication of something is wrong on the electronics inside..

My 710s Microtek monitor won't turn on. The led at the bottom turns orange as usual but doesn't continue to turn blue. It did yesterday. I tried connecting my monitor to my graphics card but that doesn't...

I would disconnect the cable from the computer, turn the monitor on and see if a small box with a message comes up that there is no input into the monitor..if so..its video card inside the computer or the cable.. or a driver...just guessing here...

Samsung syncmaster 910N when turned on shows "check cable" and when connected to graphic card goes black. How to fix it??

you may change the vga cable for your sync master, and try another video graphics card.

one more thing, if you happen to see that your monitor led goes orange, that would only mean it needs to be replace by a new one, or a technician might help you. orange led light means, internal problem.

Monitor was in standby mode, computer was on. Now it shows no signal and when we try using the menu button (2) it flashes white, black, red, green, blue then a teal color.

the monitor is not receiving a signal from the computer which is why the multi coloured bars are showing. Ensure the lead is connected and is connected to the correct port of your computer. If it is connected correctly then either your graphics card is faulty or the lead, or monitor is

Led turns on green then turns orange but no picture on screen

Try this connected to another computer or laptop, see if the same issue arises. If it does not, suspect graphics card / chip problems. Reseat the Graphics card and reconnect monitor making sure all connections are tight.

Boot to F8 (safe mode) with monitor attached to the original computer, select VGA mode and see if that cures the problem.

If the monitor works on the other laptop or computer, then the issue lies in a faulty graphics card (assuming everyting else is ok on the computer).

If it does not, then you have an issue with the monitor.

My monitor AOC 912Sw-4 does not turn on. Power button`s led is flashing all the time.At the beginning I waited some minutes and I could use it normally, but right now it is impossible see any image on it.

only choice is to give the monitor for service.
anyway read this, this help you.
is your CPU working properly? if that the case, your monitor is in need of a service.
reasons for why a monitor goes blank?
Reason 1: Wetness
The number one reason why computer monitors go blank is - wetness. Believe it or not, when your computer monitor is exposed to humid air, sometimes water can condense and accumulate in the monitor. This causes the monitor to malfunction and go blank. I've had this happen to my desktop PC at least three times before. What you need to do is to leave the monitor alone for some time and allow the water to evaporate. That usually solves the problem.

Reason 2: Faulty Graphics Card
The next reason why your computer monitor goes black is due to a faulty graphics card. The best way to detect this kind of problem is to connect up a new monitor to your PC, then check if you have a blank screen. If you continue to have a blank screen, then it's likely your video card is faulty.

Reason 3: Faulty RAM
This one is less obvious and less common, but it can happen. You might sometimes get bad RAM modules which prevent your PC from booting up even to the basic BIOS startup screen. To detect this kind of problem is more troublesome, you might need to remove those RAM modules and insert them into another computer.

Reason 4: Loose Connections
Another reason why your monitor goes blank is due to loose connections. The connection from the monitor to the mains is usually a culprit, as is the connection between the monitor and the video card. Check those connections before you declare your computer monitor as faulty.

Reason 5: A Short Circuit In The Motherboard
And the final reason why your computer monitor goes blank? It's possibly because of a short circuit in the motherboard. This is the most undesirable outcome of course, as you might have to replace your entire motherboard. However, it's possible that this can happen - so keep your fingers crossed and hope it doesn't happen to you.
try this.

I installed the ATI x1650 but the monitor is blank when I turn on

Yes the card does support the screen. If you have blank screen right from turn on, chack that you have not plugged the monitor into the onboard graphics port instead of your Radeon. If you have plugged it into the right port then you have hardware problems. Could be any of the following:
1. Monitior
2. Video Card
3. System memory
4. Motherboard
5. Powersupply
6. CPU

Try a different monitor and get back to me if you want troubleshooting tips.
Cheers

Blank Screen while Green LED is Blinking.

It's because I accidentally plug the cable to the built-in graphics card port. Now I connected it to the right one and my monitor is working great!

Can't find video signal

If screen says "Signal cable not connected " all the time till power led switches to Amber chances are monitor is ok and problem is with graphic card or cpu.Connect to Known working CPU and confirm that monitor is the problem.
If same problem persists on another working cpu after changing signal cable, the interface board in the monitor could be defective.
