You can open the door manually: Open the filter flap at the bottom left of machine- you will see a red loop attached to the machine by a screw- remove this screw and pull down on loop- door will open. If you go to, click on "customer care", then "manuals", and type in "W640" in the "Search product" box, you can download the entire manual for your machine. Chapter 13 has picture showing how to manually open door. However, if the machine is tripping the power when switched on, you obviously have some electrical fault in machine, which will require the attention of a technician. At least you can get the clothes out though!! Happy fixing!!

its prob your inner door catch or door striking plate the inner door catch has a bymetal strip inside that looks the door they wear out but if the striking plate is worn on the door it will also stop the inner catch to lock it is better to replaice both at the same time they are not to expensive to buy and easy to fit just turn off the power to machine unplug take the top off and you can get your hand dowm the front where the inner lock is undue the two screws which holds the inner door catch lift out and unplug the lock plug in new one and put back you will see how to replaice the outer door catch best to take the door off and lay flat

Blower fan will not shut off, radio quit working, side doors will not open electrically, heated seats quit working . Not all of these happened at the same time.

First thing I would check is the main power distribution center for the circuit breakers, relays and fuses. Use a test light to see if power is at all the connecting points, put fuses in place of breakers to test them. Burned contacts inside will make them "click" but no power will go to the circuit. You can take the cover off of a breaker and look inside at the contacts and clean them with emery cloth or fine sand paper. Relays are the same only boxy in shape. Contacts will also stick shut and not disconnect like in your blower fan problem.

Hope this helps, Craig

Preheat comes on then clicks out on a 1.9 golf. so i cant pre heat new glowplugs wire has power for a split second

YOU DO KNOW THAT THE DRIVERS DOOR STARTS THE HEATER PLUGS WORKING....and the routine is, open door, sit in seat, shut door, start car, put belt on,if you take your time doing ANYTHING else the heater WILL have started and switched off.NOW,if that dont work, you will need to get a diagnostic computer to tell you where the fault (if any)lies.the timer is inside the ecm.not adjustable.

2006 Chevy Uplander. The power sliding doors won't shut

2 possible solutions. First clean the door pin contacts(multiple spring loaded pins on door side and matching plate on body) with a scotch pad until shiny gold color again. Second the rear edge of the door should be 1mm inside the body opening when closed. If those are correct it is going to take a software download from a dealer to the door control module to fix this. Otherwise you will have to pull the psd fuse and breaker from the right side dash fuse box.

Locked back door of toyota 94 corolla

There is a child safety lock in the door jamb. Unlock the door and open it from the OUTSIDE and look for a small sliding switch somewhere along the edge of the door where the door makes contact with the body when shut.
