Indications of laptop overheating problem:
Solution:
If the CPU heatsink is not clogged with dust and lint completely, you can use canned air and just blow it inside the laptop through the openings on the bottom and on the sides. It’s nice as a precaution measure, but it might not work if your laptop already has a problem and the heatsink is completely clogged.
Yup. Its the heatsink cloged with lint and dust. I took my p35 apart removed the heatsink cleaned it and the fans then removed the old thermal paste and replace it with "Artic Silver 5 " Thermal paste. Put it back together and Ive never had a problem with it shutting of since. The fans run nice and slow all the time now unless im runnig a big application . Even when running a big progam or application the fans never run on full like they use to. They come on full for like 3 seconds when you first turn on the laptop and then ren slow, but this is normal.
