No Picture-white screen

We have a Dynex flat-screen 26 inch TV. When we turn it on, it only shows a white screen. The audio works but not the picture. Do we need to take it somewhere to get fixed or is there a simpler solution?

Ur Tuner board,that the tv signal came into that board.U have a little manchanical skill.Take ur tv aparts.Replaced that Tuner board ur tv will work again.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a refurbish Tuner board to replacement.

Black Screen - Can not get menu to show to adjust brightness.
You need to replace the inverter board thats what preventing the backlights from lighting up so you can see the picture. You can get the inverter board from www.tvrepairworld.com

Have owned a dynex tv for 3 months now and i turned it on this morning and the picture is white but the tv shows are playing but the color is white! what can i do?
White screen mans the T-CON board is not getting the voltage feeding it or it has blown surface mounted fuse.

I dont have a full screen picture
Locate the button on the remote that came with the TV labeled "ratio" or "wide" or " format" not sure what yours is labeled different brands call it different things, but press it multiple times until you get the picture the way you want it to look.

It's the 26 inch version but have problem with picture
Hi Paul,
It looks like your TV might have a main board failure if the screen stays white without video. Since your TV is less then a year, I would suggest to contact the manufacturers to get fix under warranty. Most electronics devices carry one year warranty.
