My tv is a sanyo 20 inch flat screen tv model number clt2054 picture goes black but sound still works
Good day.
The crt circuit of the unit might be loose or the the parts inside the board is loose. Have it hecked by a technician first. Minor parts inside might caused the problem.

I have a similar problem, the only difference being my screen turns white instead of black. The sound still works. The first time it happened, I turned the tv off and back on, and the picture was back. However it kept happening, and now turning it off and on does nothing.
My tv is on with sound but the screen is black. I think it has something to do with the remote. i can still go to settings and the cable info will show on the screen but no picture
