Assessing a damaged Toshiba E-Studio 3511 for potential purchase.
OK first of all the C260 code indicates a scanner lamp issue which is not major. But...Be VERY careful here as I need to know what you mean by "damaged"
I ask this because this being a full color copier you can run into so much money so fast it will make your head spin. They are complicated machines and you can run into a lot of issues.
Was the machine dropped? What were the circumstances that caused the machine to become damaged.
Since you are purchasing it damaged I would not even think of paying more than $200 to $300 as that is about what it is worth at the maximum.
I've got one in perfect condition with only 16,000 color copies on it that I can not even get $1,000 out of locally.
No way to send me the pics without violated our "code of conduct" here. I would not recommend buying this machine at any price because that is all it will ever be is a parts machine. The purchase price plus the cost of shipping if you have to pay that is going to make it a loser. I would stay away from this machine....that is my recommendation.
Also if I have been helpful at all please consider giving me a few thumbs up!

Cheers for the prompt reply. Yeah this one's been dropped from a forklift - vendor posted pics of paper feed damage & note of possible main circuit board damage. Currently listed at $90 NZ - about $50US, but if it can't be reasonably fixed I don't want a parts donor corpse.
Is there a way to send you a couple of pics of damage?
