You need to replace the power supply, PN: ETX2MM704MGH. This 10 flash failure is common. I hope this was helpful, best wishes.

I called Panasonic Plasma Concierge. The first thing she asked about was whether there were any components attached by HDMI. I said, two a BluRay player and an Apple TV. She said that HDMI devices can lose sync and confuse the TV. Unplugging the TV for a few minutes and disconnecting the HDMI cables can reset everything.
She took me through the following process:

  1. I unplugged the TV.
  2. I unplugged both HDMI cables.
  3. I unplugged the two devices connected with HDMI.
  4. I plugged the TV directly into the wall.
  5. I turned on the TV.
  6. It worked.
She then instructed me to power up the HDMI devices and connect the HDMI cables. The BluRay player started displaying.
Problem solved. Don't go replacing anything until you try this.

Sharp LC-32lb261u TV no longer works after a thunderstorm. If I unplug it & then plug it right back in, I get several random flashes of the red power light.

Sorry for the inconvenience. Actually the LED flashes indicates a code. Could you provide how many times it flashes and the pattern?

For example: 8 short 3 long or 7 flashes and repeats.

Turns off automatically and flashes 10 times

As far as I am able to see the model here does not have a 10 code, is it possible the wrong brand and model are listed here?

TV won't turn on power light flashes 10 times

Switch off the TV from remote, then switch off the on/off button on the TV, remove the plug pin from the power outlet. Cool off for 48 hours and then retry. If nothing works, better refer it to a qualified service technician.

RED LIGHT FLASHES 10 TIMES BUT WILL NOT TURN ON!

There might really be a problem with the unit. Try unplugging it out of the power outlet and plug it back in after 30 seconds. If your using a power box (voltage regulator), try plugging it directly to the outlet. If all nothing happens, see a local tv tech in your area. The unit could be damaged.

Watching tv when the picture went black and now the green on light flashes for 30 times and turns off

A green flashing light for this model of TV indicates that the lamp cover is open on the TV.
  1. Unplug the power cable to the TV.
  2. Remove the 2 retaining screws on the lamp cover with a Phillips type screwdriver.
  3. Remove the lamp door completely from the TV.
  4. Remove the two retaining screws on the lamp case.
  5. Lift up the fixed wire handle of the lamp.
  6. Pull out the handle slowly and remove the lamp case.
  7. Insert the new lamp gently into the correct position. Make sure it is inserted correctly.
  8. Using a manual Phillips screwdriver (Do Not use an electric screwdiver), tighten the screws you removed in
    step 3.
  9. Replace the lamp cover and tighten the cover screws.
  10. Plug in the power cord and turn on the TV. After the initial warmup period (which may take up to several
seconds for full picture brightness), the TV should operate normally.
If any of the following conditions exist, turn off the TV, unplug the power cord, and repeat steps 1–9 to ensure that the lamp unit and lamp unit
door are installed correctly:
  • The lamp indicator flashes green.
  • No picture
  • Dark picture
  • TV will not turn on
If, after repeating steps 1–10, the problem still exists, call Customer Service at 1-800-631-3811.
