ok if you can scan and check for viruses sometimes virus can play havoc on your computor if that doesnt solve it and if it is under warranty take it back where you got it from and tell them the problem.
consider to replace your hard drive, your hard drive detected crash on your bios so you have to replace it. your hard drive can be use to external hard drive buy some external hard drive case 2,5" you can re partition your hard drive and maybe if you are lucky the harddrive can be use again on your laptop

It appears your hard disk has died and it may not be possible for you to retrieve your data.
Remove your hard drive from the laptop and insert it into an USB harddrive adapter, (they are not expensive and you can use it later as a external hard drive). Then plug it into the USB port of a working computer. The computer should/may see it as an external drive, if you are lucky you will be able to copy your data, if not, you are out of luck.
There are companies that can recover data from faulty hard drives, but it will cost you an arm and a leg for their service.
If you are getting bad block reports on your hard drive, it means that your hard drive media has suffered some degradation. It could very well be that some system files are being affected by this, thus continually triggering the problem. You may not like the suggestion I have, but it looks to me like the most solid solution (saving you hours and hours of troubleshooting).
Backup all files from your hard drive, save all of your browser shortcuts to backup files, then perform another Windows XP installation with a low level format of the hard drive. I know a PC specialist with many years of experience that says hard drives develop faulty areas over time and that every 5 years or so, it's just best to back up data from the hard drive and perform a low level format. This resets the device completely. If there are any faulty areas on the disk, they are skipped over--to the operating system, the drive will be perfectly fine.

1. Get Windows XP Booteble CD from a friend or simple download it for example "WINDOWS XP PROsp3 x86 32 BIT" 2. Burn it on CD 3. Switch on your Laptop/PC 4. Press F12 5. Put your Windows XP to your CD/DVD drive 6. Choose from a manu DVD/CD 7. Press any key to start instalation 8. wait a couple minutes and pres R for Repair 9. wait until you will se C:\ 10. and finally type "chkdsk c:" 11. after all restart laptop/pc 12. Enjoy
