Go to "parameters" than select "filters" scroll down to "create a filter"
follow instructions. At the end you have to assign that filter to a new label. That's all

How do I sign in to my gmail account on my iPad?

To sign in, add your account
You can add both Gmail and non-Gmail accounts to the Gmail app on your iPhone or iPad.
On your iPhone or iPad, open the Gmail app Gmail.
In the top right, tap your profile picture.
Tap Add another account.
Choose the type of account you want to add:
If you use iCloud, @me.com, or @mac.com accounts, you may need to enter specific settings or an app password.
If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
If you don't see your email service, select Other.
Follow the steps on the screen to add your account. If available, tap Try Gmailify to get Gmail features with your added account, like spam protection and email categories.

How to keep a check on Email Spam?

Step 1: Set up "filters" in your Gmail account to automatically delete junk mail from specific senders. While spammers tend to change their email addresses frequently, you will sometimes get repeated spam messages from the same sender. Go into your "Settings," click "Filters," and set up a filter that automatically deletes all incoming emails from the sender.

Step 2: If you are getting junk mail from the same company, but the return address keeps changing, create a filter to delete the emails by detecting certain words. For example, maybe the company is called Global Moneymaking Enterprises. Create a filter that catches all emails that contain those three words and set it to delete them automatically.

Step 3: Rather than deleting junk emails that make it into your Gmail inbox, select them and click the "Report Spam" button. This will move the message into your spam folder, but it will also give Google information to help it improve its spam filter.

Step 4: Set up a special Gmail address that you use for making purchases, signing up for newsletters, and doing other activities that require you to give out your email address. Sometimes companies will opt you into promotional offers or sell your email address to spammers. Block this mail from coming to your main Gmail account by protecting that address and only giving out your special account address.

Step 5: If you notice a lot of junk emails in your spam folder that contain certain words, set up a filter to screen out emails with those words. Terms such as Viagra are common, but spammers often change them around to defeat spam filters, However, many of these changes are used frequently. For example, many spammers use the same Vi@gara misspelling. When you notice this, block those terms and you won't even get their messages in your Gmail spam folder.

How do I import folders from my Tesco email account to my newBt email account

You need to forward the emails. You'll have to create the folders in your new account.

  • See #3 below 1. Set up a new email address - you can use your current broadband provider or a free webmail account like Gmail or Outlook.
    2. Once you've set up your new email account, please set up email forwarding on your tesco.net account by 27th June - this will last until 10th October 2018.
    3. Log in to your tesco.net email account and forward any emails you want to keep to your new email address as you won't be able to access these after 27th June 2018.
    4. If you use your tesco.net email address as a username to log in to websites (for example Tesco.com or BBC iPlayer), you'll need to change this to your new email address.

Email in my gmail account is not being received by me. Others tell me they have sent messages but I do not see them.

Firstly check your spam/junk folder to make sure that they are not being intercepted and diverted there.
Secondly, check account is "active" by sending yourself an email.
If these 2 work okay then ensure that you are giving people the correct details...... maybe send them all an email (individually) so that they can "add" you as a contact to avoid any mistakes

I want to automaticly send some e-mails to a seperate folder other than my in box on my i phone. like i can with outlook. Can this be done?

You can't set rules or filters on your emails like your regular email client. But if you use an IMAP supported email service like gmail or microsoft exchange, then you can create the rules on the server which will automatically filter the emails into folders. iPhone will just see the emails in their different folders.
